This blogger is still jetlagged and whatnot but walking around Paris’s 10th arrondissement today, I bumped into a tiny, unassuming stand called “Nopal.” Upon a brief chit chat with the mec in charge, I found out he is from Tampico, Tamaulipas, and is here on a “vacances-travaille” visa and convinced me to have one taco for “only” 4.50 euros.
Guys, I don’t know if it was the jetlag, the hangover, the canicule or the excess “boeuf bourguignon” but this was glorious!
Oh, and did I mention the Juan Gabriel music on the background and the chief taquero “delantal?”
