In yet another sign that Hispanic-targeted advertising gets more creative every time, here is how Cheetos decided to pitch its new Cheetos Salsa Roja to Spanish-speaking Angelenos (which pretty much means all Angelenos.)
(I guess only a “real” Latino will be able to understand the connection between a soccer referee holding a red card with the word ‘mánchate’.)

The guy in the photo is actually America’s most famous rugby player, Paul Emerick, holding a red card. I happen to know this only b/c he is my husband’s cousin… Since rugby is not that big in America, he is more well-known in other parts of the world.
