‘El Bloombito’ Now Greeting you Aboard NYC Taxis

Bill De Blasio might be the new mayor of New York City, but it looks like he has hired El Bloombito to work on the “Spanish-language” welcome messages aboard New York City taxis.

I kind of want to reproach Mr. De Blasio for the faux pas, but I’m afraid he’ll take my complaint as a compliment or -worse- a complement.

    Sopunds like the same bloombito is getting around. Si, complaints = quejas, pero, complementos gets me.
    Pero, here in Mazatlan , gallos describes, la idioma, “scallops” , and pico short for spicy, we say pica , pero pico deguy-yo. Sr, Spanglish Bloombito gets around.
    Tal vez, ven a Mazatlan, si, or see “Maz”, our Spanglish esta excellente!
