There is nothing more depressing for this blogger than National Taco Day, when everyone – and their abuela – take to social media to share what they think are … tacos.
The good news is that it’s also National Vodka Day, so I’m off for a very early one to be able to take the pain.
My birthday is not until May, but if you find it in your heart to give this blogger one of these for Christmas and/or Black Friday, I’ll be forever grateful.
See? It’s not only a convenient way to serve your chips & salsa without making a soggy mess, but it closes automatically *and* it plays MEXICAN HAT DANCE MUSIC! (whatever that means).
WATCH this thing in action here and please, please, please, send one over!
America, land of the free, and home of the meatless chorizo and the Chicken Taco Grande Ring, is now giving us the “Latino croissant,” which this blogger believes it’s a croissant, but Latino… whatever *that* means.
In a jab to “President” Donald Trump, Corona Beer this week launched a new video on its YouTube page, which basically makes a point this blogger has been hammering pretty much all her [adult] life: America is not a country. America is a continent… And a big one at that…
We are the belly button of this world… and its lungs
We are hot blooded, we are poetry, art, and chants…
We are constant revolution
We are 35 united states
Americanos somos todos…
… and so on
The spot concludes by urging fans to join Corona’s fan page to show their pride about being American, or something to that effect. WATCH:
Cinco de Mayo (aka this blogger’s favorite faux holiday) is just around the corner, and this year — with the explosion of Twitter, Snapchat, Periscope, Instagram and the like — the marketing furor promises to be crazier than ever before. Muy loco, indeed!
Stay tuned for this blog’s full “coverage” of this year’s non-Mexican holiday. In the meantime, take a look at this kit offered by Paper & Cake and start printing your own fiesta kit.
