I’m more offended by the $22 pozole! I mean, huitlacoche isn’t particularly cheap in Mexico, it’s a bit rare, and considered a delicacy, and I think it was illegal in the States until quite recently. So twelve bucks seems rather reasonable for an exotic delicacy hitherto unknown north of El Rio Bravo. But pozole? Hominy and lettuce and radishes in a weak broth with a few pieces of mystery meat tossed on top? Two bucks at Mercado La Cruz.
I’m sure it’s 12 bucks for an order of three quesadillas, no?
Nel. acá te dan una. grande, pero solo una
