Oh, how I miss the days when Penélope Cruz drank Coke and belched like the guys.
Alas, in this modern, politically-correct times we live, the gorgeous-but-married-mother-of -small-children wants us to drink… non-alcoholic beer, because she’s a lady, you know? and beer is, like, for the dudes.
The following is an ad apparently airing now on Polish television, though several reports say Karmi, the beer for ladies, is making its way to Spain — and beyond.

… But before non-Hispanic people go crazy and start sending us all back to Mexico and such, please note that the 30-second spot (below) will NOT air on CBS, but on ESPN Deportes, which will broadcast the game in Spanish for the first time ever.
The spot features actor Michael Peña encouraging a party of Bud Light-drinking sports fans to have fun and and do away with stereotypes (i.e. Mexicans in mariachi gear playing the guitar,) which is kind of OK, but hey, I loooove men in mariachi gear playing the guitar!
Anyhow, this blogger is trying to stay away from this thing (Super Bowl *and* Budweiser) as much as possible, so here ya go!
Turns out Ecuador isn’t the only Latin American country using the Super Bowl as platform to pitch its wonders. Mexico is doing a similar effort with its first Super Bowl ad ever, an adorable spot pitching –what else?– avocados. Because, let’s be honest, which American in his/her right mind would spend a Super Bowl Sunday without guacamole?
However, it looks like America’s love for avocados is not limited to big NFL events. In January 2014 alone, Americans reportedly ate 70 million pounds of avocados.
And that is a whole lot of guacamole!
